Hi! I'm so excited! I took my GRE exam this morning & I scored well above what my (hopeful) grad school-to-be wants applicants to achieve. I'm so proud!!!! :) Now I can stop studying those crazy vocab words (loquacious, obdurate, harangue anyone?!?! ) and geometry, etc and focus on what's most interesting to me: nursing!!!!! :) Now I cannot wait to hear back from the school to see if I get an interview. Wish me luck! :)

I too am scheduled to take the GRE this fall, in October! (Three years out of undergrad...) I'm pushing it to the latest I can while giving myself enough time to get the Analytical score back and scores sent to the schools that require it. I'll be taking three classes starting at the end of August so I'm hoping I can squeeze in enough time to be well prepared.
Good luck to everyone!
I used the 75-100pg Crash Course for the GRE (either princeton or stanford review?) and ARCO's 30 days to scoring higher on the GRE. Both books are skinny, and teach you to TAKE the test. I'm not too good in the math dept, and didn't want to spend hours studying vocab, and these books really focused on how to find the right answer without wasting too much time guessing or calculating. I studied for about a month with these books and GRE's free powerprep software from their website. I think I got around 1300 and 4.5 on the essay.
