How can i motivate myslef to retake my nclex?Do i have to go back reading FUNDAMENTALS IN NURSING or go straight to Q&A? every second counts for me. im a housewife busy with unending house chores, taking care of my family and helping husband with family business. But i am not content with my present situation. I like to grow with my profession, I need to do things related to nursing.. also in preparation to retake for my nclex. how can i without neglecting family's needs?! .Please, any advice?

Start taking the challenge, don't think just do . I am also trying to balance out things with family and work. I took my test 2 years ago and didn't pass so don't give up. Give Susan's plan a try. Good luck.

me too ... i graduated nov2005 and took the nclex august 2006 ... but i failed and i got depressed ... now i am married, and you are right, so many chores, and its like you don't have enough time to sleep and do everything ... but i have heard a lot of good things about suzzanes plan ... i bought the 4th edition of saunders, because i used to have the 3rd edition and i put away everything, i only have the 4th edition saunders on my study table ... it makes good sense to me to focus on one material instead of different books ... and saunders is really good with rationale and practice questions ... i finished her first tip already and i pm her also ... i am just waiting for her plan ... hopefully i did everything (her instructions) right ... because i really want to see her plan, and i believe that i too will pass like all the people that tried her plan ... she got a 100% passing rate, as long as you follow her instructions strictly like a religion ... hehehe ... give it a try ... don't give up and waste 4yrs of college ... goodluck!!!
thank you for the advice. yes, i will try suzzane's plan sounds interesting and might as well invest the 4th edition of saunders. I had the 3rd edition but was not able to finish reading the entire book let alone answering the Q&As. Thanks again.. and goodluck to both of us!
yes, i like that "just do it" attitude. thank you michelle02.

Have this very somber thinking session with yourself: a horrible accident takes your husband tomorrow and you add breadwinner to your task list. Family and friends can't help or their help is too limited. Do you want to think about passing the NCLEX under these circumstances? Take and pass the NCLEX now. Make the time. Get up one or two hours early every day. You can do this if you make yourself do it.
OMG your advice was an eye opener for me. I am strongly motivated to take and pass my NCLEX whatever it takes! Thank you!
