I admit I have never worked at a SNF in a CCRC. I think there might be a CCRC in my area.

There are some good nursing homes who still care about the residents and staff, but they are hard to find anymore. Just do your research and don't apply at any home with under a four star rating. If you can, try to find a non-profit LTC. They are generally very well run with little staff turnover. The best nursing home I have ever worked in was a non-profit. I was there for four years and hated having to leave.

I am thinking of applying at a different LTC to see if this LTC is better than my last one.
Am I a fool to even try again? Am I suffering from the delusion that I might find better circumstances this time around?
