Hello, my name is wade and im 17 years of age, I am still in my last year of highschool. I found nursing when i was in my 3rd year of highschool and loved it, After inrolling in my CNA class and working part time in a nursing home " in the dish room lol" i have met alot of nurse's and made new friends.
I have researched many paths in the nursing field and found CRNA as the one i really find magnificent.
Can any one give me any feedback on CRNA? i would really just like to know more about it from REAL people books and websites just dont cut it.
Thanks for your time

Hi Wade so glad to see your post. I'm not sure how well it will be seen under general forums. There is a CRNA forum here that I'm sure they would love to help you out. The actual address for it is www.allnurses.com/forums/f16 Best of Luck to you!
Actually, that link doesn't work. But, if you go to Forums, Specialty, then you will see the CRNA forum.

The link above didn't work. But that is the best place for CRNA information, especially see the link Pre-CRNA.
The path to become a CRNA isn't an easy one. First you must get a BSN (or ADN first and then a BSN) and have a minimum of two years of cricital care nursing experience. CRNA schools are few and far between and it's hard to get into one. Then it's a very tough and demanding program where only the strong and committed survive.
Good luck to you!
