and I'm not feeling very confident. My husband and I bought a house and closed on it May 6th. We are almost settled in. Life has been one big whirlwind in these last few weeks with my schooling, moving, driving the kids back and forth to school, and all the other extras that pop up. I never bought a study guide for the Kaplan entrance exam. My school gave me a preparation guide that gives me sort of an idea of what's going to be on the exam.
It's the A&P stuff that I'm most nervous about. I have A&P powerpoints up the wazoo and have been reviewing them like mad. I keep thinking to myself, "how the hell am I going to remember all this stuff?".
My gpa is 3.98. My only A- was from math. So I'm definitely brushing up on that area.
But is the science portion really that difficult? It's suggested that we know physiology (that's all that's listed under the science portion).

I didnt think the anatomy and physiology was that hard, although for some people, it is... I thought it was more of a general knowledge of A&P. There were 33 questions on it, I believe.
I took A&P 1 in fall 2009 and A&P 2 in spring 2010 and ended up receiving an A- in the A&P 1 and an A in A&P 2. I just took the HESI A2 test yesterday. I received an 96 on the A&P portion.
Good luck! :)
I did some review on A&P and I can't believe how much I forgot. My A&P II class ended in March of 2009 (winter quarter). I think what really helped the most, is knowing medterm, because as long as I knew what certain terms meant, then visualizing the meaning seemed to muster up whatever knowledge I have of A&P.
Well, I'm off for my exam...
I hope you do well. :)
