I was so cmfortable with the questions they were asking me and i was so sure that it would stop at 85....but I guess not. the higher the number got the more anxious i was for the computer to shutoff. the questions got harder all focusing on endocrine. it stopped at 205.
i left the testing center crying, discouraged, and unintelligent. i called everyone i can think of to think what they thought 205 meant...that is of course the maximum questions you can get at the NCLEX-PN.
do you think there is still hope? qhat are the chances of me passing honestly.

One of my classmates stopped at 205 and he passed. You can't predict if you pass or fail. You just have to wait for your results. I finally got my CO license and start friday at my first job, and I am as nervous about that as I am when I took my boards! CO is an "at will" state, meaning they can terminate my employment at any time. Yikes!!
Bay area, San Jose. Went to Mission College in Santa Clara. So far, 20 out of our 29 graduates have passed. I'm not sure about the other 9.They may not have taken boards yet.
my friend failed it last month.im not really sure but she said she really had a hard time,she knew she failed. Don't lose hope you said it yourself your friend passed it with 205 questions it took her about 1 month to get her results.Im from cali also
If you are in Cali you have to wait 91 days. I recommend Kaplan's RN book, even tho you are taking the VN. That book has some great hints and tips at narrowing down to the correct answer even if you've never heard of the question content. Good Luck!!
Take the review course!!! I recommend Sally Lagerquist (650) 941-5784 if in CA. We just hired an RN that failed the test twice but passed after Sally's weekend course. She gives them all over CA. More courses can be found at http://www.rn.ca.gov/schools/nclexreview.htm . And remember, you must prioritize the answers for each given situation and choose the highest priority. If you don't have a clue then find a commonality between three of the answers and choose the "oddball".
