I am still praying that I passed

Published

My results were not posted to the California BRN as of today. I was awake at 2:30 in the morning on Saturday morning (late Friday night) and experienced that 20 minute period where it said "updating site, etc" so I kept refreshing until it would let me put in a name again. When I did, mine wasn't there. It was comforting to know that when I checked for my IP it was still there, which gives me hope that I didnt' fail....yet.... Anyways, I had 265 questions and I have no idea how I did. I am just praying that I passed. I start my job tomorrow and would hate to start and then have to leave since I didn't pass.

But, I do know that God always has a plan and that if I didn't pass then it's because there is a plan in the works for me. So, I will sit tight and wait for the results. Hopefully it will be there soon since I haven't been sleeping and am so exhausted from just thinking about the test, questions, results, etc.

I hope that everybody else is having a great Super Bowl Sunday and if awaiting their test results just gets out of the hosue and does something distracting today!

Stacey

Yeah, at least you have hope since you had 75......I am getting seriously worried now. Where did you test?

New Jersey, my friend had 264 questions and passed, so don't get down because of the number.

Hey Spejsa and Mikey, I'm also in the same boat as you guys. I took my California RN exam on 1/30. Still waiting patiently (but getting more anxious as the days past). Today, I received some Nclex course review material in the mail, which doesnt make me feel any better. Wondering if you guys have received crap in the mail too. I'm starting to feel the news is going to be not good because of this mail. Kinda like a hint of whats to come.

spejsa, Please let us know how everything goes and just know that there are others out here like you, (waiting) such as myself. But I will keep praying for you like I am praying for myself.

So, this is the deal. I called the BRN on Wednesday (after being a wreck for those 4-5 days since taking the test) and was told by the guy on the other end that I have "ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT". He said that phrase about 5 times after I kept questioning him to see if I passed. And, he did confirm that if I had failed, my IP would be off the website. So, I kind of know I passed, but it's not official yet. But, I heard that it's never official (even if you see your name on the permanent license place on the board's website) until you actually get that license in the mail. So, I am just sitting and waiting for now.

Keep on praying! I have seen a lot of people from Cali who are losing their minds playing the waiting game with the board; I have even seen 2-3 weeks which sucks big time!:chuckle Try to stay as positive as you can and I will be rooting for you!
