Coworkers have done that to me on occasion, looking for mints or gum. It always gets me pi$$ed, altho I don't show it, its an invasion of privacy, like if someone went into my pocketbook, I don't even let my husband in their and I have never had anything to hide from him, its just MY SPACE

Yeh, my husband will hand me my purse and ask "is the checkbook in there (the forbidden zone)....

Yep you didn't overreact, if someone did this to me I'd be a bit shocked and probably do the same thing. I am not a touchy feely person, I hate giving hugs to anyone who isn't a family member or close friend.

There's someone at my work who has the best intentions but she will come up behind you and start giving you a neck or hand massage. I don't really like it to be honest, it makes me feel a bit strange. I guess I put up with it because she's a really nice person who does this to everyone and would probably feel hurt if i asked her to stop it.

That's along the same lines as someone giving me an unwanted back rub while I'm charting or worse, taking my hair out of it's pony tail to "fix" it. HATE THAT.

That nurse has probably posted here saying how stupid she feels for invading her favorite nurse's space!
