Hey folks!
Well, I scheduled my NCLEX exam. It's going to be on May 31st. Any prayers or comments out there would be appreciated. I need all the encouragement I can get. I'm looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time. :uhoh21:
Well I took the exam today. Stopped at 85. Took me 2 hours. Oy vey. Just like everything else I've heard, no matter how much you study, you go in there and see that you're guessing for the most part because you don't recognize the stuff. You leave feeling like you couldn't have passed. I've read that countless times. But I've also read, again for the most part, that they did pass. What's a person to do? I just hope I did. But I want to thank everyone for their prayers and good wishes and the same goes for you.
Hello all and thanks for all of your prayers. My computer shut off at 86 so I don't know how its going to go. IN Va we can get our results the next day and mine where not on there, so I think I failed even through I haven't recieved anything in the mail I 'm pretty sure. I've been down this raod before. But I'm going to keep tring until I pass. I wish you all the best of luck with your boards and I will be praying for your sucess.
wouldn't it be great wosh u luck let me know ut results and hang in thereScooby, I'm in California. Good ole snail mail. Hot dog........ my friend told me her sister went to the same place I did, and we live in the same town and she got a letter from Pearson in one week. Well we'll see. Wouldn't that be ducky.
Thanks everybody. Tsheriff, I'll definitely be praying for you. Just calm yourself because you've got 5 hours for the pn. Take your time. Eliminate the two answers that you know aren't right. Then decide between the remaining two based on your schooling. Mine was predominately prioritizing and patient education. One after the other. No math to speak of at all, which I can do well. Great huh? Don't be surprised if you don't feel like a million bucks when you walk out. Almost all of us feel unsure to say the least. I will be praying for you, and if you need some moral support after you're done, you've got friends here that I'm sure will chime their support right in for you. Go for it, tiger.:typing

Thank you so much for your support. I am under the same pressure as username. I have a job to start on June 11th, and if I dont pass I cant start. Unfortunately I didnt go to RN school in Cali. So if I pass I have to fly to Sacramento and get a temp RN license so I can start working. I am just reviewing all of my systems and I am going in on Monday @2pm.
Please keep me in your prayers and send me lots of positive thoughts.
Thanks you guys, I will let u all know how it goes on Monday. I am so tired of studying and just want to take it already.
Ciao,

ok guys.....I took the NCLEX-RN exam today and I had no idea....lets put it this way.....after the exam I had heart palpitations and my hands were shaking like I had Parkinsons. I was trying to open my locker to get my things out and I couldnt because my hands were shaking. There was a TGI Fridays next door and I had about 3 drinks before I went home to try to make sense of the exam.
I had 75 questions and I am waiting for the verdict. What should I do? How should I occupy my time? I really feel like I failed, should I start studying again?
Any advise would help? Thanks guys!
