I passed! Praise God Almighty. Got it in the mail today. 3 weeks and 2 days. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks so much. It's such a rite of passage, isn't it? So now I'm off to looking for a job. I wonder if you can get one if you show them that you passed. I live in California, and you have to send them the license money after you found out you passed, and it can take a couple of weeks until you've got a license & actual number. Anybody out there have any ideas?

Hello again! Yes unfortunately we have to fork out more money to get the license and then it does come in about 2 weeks. Keep looking after that on the computer for your name. You can try to applying and just show them the letter that you have passed and that you have sent off to get your license. Or you can just wait to get the license and then show the employment the license. I schedualed my app for July 23. Then I will have to wait that miserable time by waiting for my results. At least I have a locked in date now I can be on the look out now. It will be here before I know it. July 20, American Idol is coming to Fresno and I have tickets for that. So that will be a before treat before the test for me to enjoy and relax. Meanwhile I am still studying and doing practice tests and getting prepared still. I can't wait till I post that I have passed. Got to stay positive here. That's the best way, right. :uhoh21:

Well for all you folks in california, I fed-exed the license money to the board in sacramento, and my name & number showed up on the website 5 days later. The lady on the phone told me it would take 3 weeks. I recommend overnight fed-exing that bad boy, for all those who have to wait forever in california.

Any chance of getting your license in person?

My understanding is that in California the Board insists on mailing it to you. Otherwise you look on the website & go to the link that says license verification, put in your name, and you can get you number that way, if your check has cleared.
