Hi,
I know there are a lot of posts about the NYCLEX but I took mine on Friday. I just found out you lose your temp license if you fail which means I will lose my job. I love my job and make really good money. I think if I had known I would have put my boards off for the year. I am so scared, I really think I failed. I had the worst morning that day, got stuck in traffic and then got lost. I barely made it in time and was so stressed out. I had the full 205 questions and that scares me. It seems like you pass at 85. Anyone else had 205 questions and pass.

We all feel exactly the same way. Hang in there. Nothing to do but wait. :)
I honestly think I would have been fine if I did not find out I lose my job. When I started at the office, I asked them if I lose my job if I fail the first time and they told me no. But I found out your temporary license expires if you fail. I would have held off taking my test if I knew that. I found out after the fact that your license is good for one year unless you take your NYCLEX and fail then it expires in 10 days. I really love this job. Thanks for your post and kind words :)

Good luck...please have a stress-free day today!
There's a lot at stake isn't there. I actually moved, got into a little bit of debt buying furniture and then took NCLEX praying I would pass, feeling like I would fail, knowing I'd lose my job (or work as a CNA). So I can definately relate. It's a one chance deal and that's a lot of pressure.
Hang in there.
Oh my goodness. prayers were heard and I PASSED!!!!!!!!! The wait is torture!!!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!
It just goes to show you can pass at 205 and the number of questions is only the number of questions!
