I don't have to wait for the mail, I saw my name in CA BRN website!:chuckle I think I'll change my name from IP Nurse to RN! Yipeeeee! God is great!
I took my test last August 21 and saw my name in CA BRN website today, August 24 at 7:00am. I totally thought I failed and already filled up the application form for repeat examination and shopping for an NCLEX review program.
I just used Saunders Comprehensive review, Saunders Q&A and Saunders test strategies during my review.
I guessed almost all the questions in the exam and if I may suggest to review answering priority questions and meds side effects and adverse reactions. The ABC's and Maslows does not always applies since you'll have similar options with the same problem such as Airway. And sometime there's no obvious ABC's option, so critical thinking and safety is very important. Also encountered question about Post traumatic syndrome, Infection precaution and Labor and deivery.
I stopped between 135-145 questions, so I now believe that its not the number of questions. Good luck to all and believe me prayer works. Stay humble, you cannot do it on your own, we all need our god's help! Keep on praying!

I just took my test two days ago (August 23) for California. What is the address for the CA BRN website you checked? I've been checking the site that lists permanaent licenses is that where you looked? I've been feeling pretty horrible too, I felt like I was just making a best guess every time- nothing felt certain. Hope I'm wrong.:imbar
Thanks

If you have an SSN you can check the site after 3 days, that's what I did. But others will tell you that they waited between 5 days - 2 weeks. But it's unlike pearson vue quick result which will tell you if you pass or fail, if you see your name then you can safely assume that you pass, but if you don't there could be a lot of reason why, and one of it may mean that you did not pass, but it's just a probable cause.
May god bless you!
Thank you, HE already did and will always will.

Congratulations!!! :smiley_aa
I am going to the BRN site to lookup permanent licenses it does not require a social security number. Is that the same place you found your name- on the permanaent license page? If not could you please tell me where you went.
Thanks again, Moon

If you provided the CA BRN when you submitted your application, and all your papers are complete, you can see your name in the online permanent license verification. That's what I mean when I said "if you have an SSN". There's no requirement in entering your SSN when you use the online verification. God bless!
