I have some questions on LVN-RN . . . and I really would appreciate some help.

Here is my situation. I am a new LVN. I have been having a bit of a hard time. I know if I wait too much longer on moving up to RN, I won't want to do it anymore.

Anyway, I have my heart set on an RN program that will start around Fall of 2009. I do want to do this, but I have none of my prerequisites done. I am not even sure what all I need to do. I do need classes that are pretty much all online. I work a million hours a week, and I don't have time to travel right now.

Could anyone suggest some decent online courses (correspondence courses would be even better). Within California would be the best.

Thank you in advance!

tattooed- have you checked out ISU? I believe they're the only online program accepted in CA at this time. Here's a link: http://www.indstate.edu/distance/

Also, you might want to check out the multitude of threads here in the Distance Learning forum regarding this program. Lots of current ISU students here. Good luck to you in your decision.

nursie, sounds like ISU is the answer for you.

And good luck!

Thank you

I will check it out.

They're one of the few CA recognizes. They're out of state but will arrange the clinical hours CA requires. They're also expensive but you will be eligible for financial aid and student loans.
