O M G, I am soooo happy right now! Out of 585 applications, my name came up in the first 100, which means I should get into Spring 2014 at CCSF (they pick 50 for fall; 50 for spring). Nothing's set in stone until I get the official letter, but I'm still going to celebrate!!!

If you have not completed your TEAS V Test, then the CCSF Nursing Department offers four testing dates in early May which you must sign-up for by (04/19/2013). You must submit your score by May 10th, or you will disqualified.

Ps thank god I already took the test cause ill be gone all of May!! question does anybody know and this is hypothetical but if you didn't score 62 first time do they put you in remediation or are you automatically disqualified? It's not clear

According to their letter, if you take the TEAS V with the CCSF Nursing Department, then you must submit your TEAS score, whatever it may be passing or not. If you pass you're in, if you fail you have a second try to take it but with remediation coursework, after that you're either disqualified if you fail again, or you make it in if passed the second time around.

If you took the TEAS V on your own, then it looks like they still require your first attempted score. So if you didn't score above a 62% then I guess remediation coursework and a retest is still required.

Since we are standby does this mean it is highly unlikely we'd be offered a spot for Fall 2013?

Any thoughts as to what to do in the meantime?

Im pretty sure we would be in for Spring 2014, but Fall 2013 would be awesome lol. In the meantime take the TEAS i already have so I am going to send my results. I am wondering if we have to wait till everyone takes the test though to get an update on our standby #. Which means since I applied to other schools I need to accept just in case (havnt heard back) like sfstate. ummm :/

My letter says "We will contact you immediately... as soon as the next spot is available." So, I guess we could be waiting any amount of time really. If I hear anything I will keep you updated.

I think I'm going to submit my form in person on Tuesday. Time to study for TEAS V! :D
