Okay, so I just got a call to set up a phone interview with Azusa Pacific. My question is should I miss class (my interview is at 3p and I have class until 320) or miss all classes that day and go to a in person interview? And what are some helpful tips?

Personally, I think you would make a better first impression if you conduct your interview in person. I say go to your class and leave at the appropriate time it takes for you to drive to APU. Just let your instructor know you have a personal appointment/emergency going on and you'll be leaving class early. Only you know the attendance policy for your school and know what to do. Good luck!
Thanks for replying. I did change it to an in-person interview. I will still miss my third class but I think it will be worth it. From what I've read on here, it's more like a tell us about your transcripts and self type thing but that it doesn't make or break an applicant. I hope I can make a good enough impression!

I applied to the Inland Empire campus but I applied for Spring 2013. As far as interviews go, from what I've read it isn't required as some won't get an interview. I am not sure about the January start. Good luck
Thanks so much for the reply! I'm just getting a little anxious as I know some have already received acceptance calls/emails for Fall 2012. I hope there's still a chance for me.
Good luck on your interview!
Thanks! Good luck to you too! I've read that some people got spots last minute so keep the hope up!!!!!
I hope so! I was also thinking of applying to the Inland Empire
location, but I haven't received word yet for Fall at the main campus so
I thought I'd wait. Did you apply to any other schools/waiting to hear back from any others?
Nope, just APU. That's my top choice. I was told that they have the Two plus Two program which is 6 semesters long that is "easier" to get into. So if I don't get in the ELM ill probably go for the Two plus Two.
Wow, I've never heard of the 2 + 2 program. Any specifics on that? Only APU has it at Inland Empire campus?

jsimpsonlee03,
any word on your application after your interview? did they say when they would get back to you on whether you are accepted into the program? i just turned in my application so hopefully it's not too late to set up an interview.

The 2+2 appears to be a very similar program. The differences I saw were 2+2 cohorts take undergrad classes as opposed to ELM cohorts take graduate classes. Also, I don't think 2+2 does the clinicals. Now, the 2+2 is ONLY at Victoriville whereas ELM is at SD, IE and APU campuses.
