Great!!! I just passed my pharmacology lab and final! 2 days in a row. My heart can't take it. Next is shots..med/surg. Any pointers?

Im new here too and still figuring out how this forum works. After I gave my first shot, it was a breeze. The first one is HARD! I was scared to death.

We gave shots 2 weeks ago and I agree, the first one is the hardest - the rest are a breeze! One thing that I didn't know could happen...sometimes obese men with leathery skin are REALLY hard to stick. I had a shot literally bounce off of a guys arm. I felt so bad, but he acted like it happened all the time to him. I wish that someone had told me that could happen!!
