I got the Davis's nclex review book it attracted me because it had a guarantee to pass the nclex warranty and if you saved your reciept to the book and you ended up failing you can send your failing results to them along with the reciept and they would pay for you to retest.... I didnt really use the book too much I used the cd and and it had a test bank of thousands of questions and it is more like the nclex test format. I know alot of people say to do 200 questions per day... but what i would do is I would break it up in to 25-50 questions in a sitting , so when i graded it i would not have an advantage.. the questions would be worth more than me doing 100 questions and missing alot and getting 90% on it rather than me grading 25 questions and getting 90%. I read the rationale for both right and wrong answers. the week before the test i did not review with any books i used the lippincott lpn review cards, they were very handy and portable(can take them any where) the day before the test i did not open a book i just said my prayers and got some rest.....alot of people told me that it is possible to study too much.. study long study wrong... I never spent more than 30 min to an hour on studying in one sitting, then i would do something and come back to it.... good luck to you:nurse:
