I passed mine too! I took it on the 24th and then did the quick results option on PearsonVue's website on the 26th. I had 75 questions, and I took Kaplan, but I didn't finish all the question trainers before I got to test day...I still did just fine though! I am soooo happy to have this behind me and I start the first nightshift at my new job tomorrow night; finally able to do all the skills I have learned...for a paycheck...whoohoo!!!:nurse:

At my school, graduating students met every other week the last semester and we had a NCLEX class taught by a professor. We did practice questions from one of every 8 sections.
Then at the end, we had 2-8 hr days of review with PowerPoints that my professor had prepared for us. She was excellent about analyzing our strengths and weaknesses and telling us what to focus on. She even gave us a study guide to follow. I have done ATI testing throughout school so we also had to take the Predictor.
I didn't take any special course or anything. I reviewd the PowerPoints I was given and then usually 100 questions a day for practice. I used the orange Saunders Q&A Book and really liked it. The CD is nice too. I ended up taking my test 5 weeks after graduation and that for me was the perfect length of time afterwards.
As for areas to focus on....I kept hearing lots of things from lots of people and I didn't have any that they told me to look at. It really seems like craps shoot. I would be willing to mail my PowerPoints to you if you would like them. Just shoot me a PM if you are interested.

Hello All,
I took the NCLEX-RN June 25th...had 265 questions and just knew I didnt do well! I had a lot of priority questions, SATA, infection control! I came home and search the website for all the threads on nclex and the "PVT"...I used it, just to calm my nerves a little...and IT WORKED! I was able to pay for my quick results lastnight (June 27th) and was so happy to see that little word PASS!
Congrats to all of you that took it and passed...and good luck to all that will be taking it soon!

Just wanted to share the good news with the AllNurses family.
I took my boards on June 22nd and found out on June 24th and passed.
YAY! I am sooo excited.
I took 75 questions and tada.
The Pearson Trick also worked for me...so I have some faith in it.
Now, I just wait till August to go to Air Force training.
