Hey Everybody! I took my RN board exam yesterday and found out this morning from the MN board of nursing that I PASSED.
I'm still in shock. I left the testing center in tears, thinking for sure that I failed.
When I reached home yesterday, I sat down , had a good cry, and told myself that I'm going to study again harder, and retake the exam again. I thought for sure that I had failed. I ran out of time on my exam and only completed about 148 questions. I got so many SATA questions that I thought for sure the computer will shut down at 75 questions. To my great surprise, that didn't happen.
So, I just want to give some words of encouragement to those out there that if the computer doesn't shut at 75 questions, it does not mean that you did poorly. What helped me I think is the fact that I probably got a huge number of questions right after all or whatever happen...
However, I did study very very hard for this exam. I graduated mid december 2012, and studied for a good 2 months.
Anyway, just thought I should share my experience! Never lose hope! You can do it!
Take care!

Yes very scary! What a relief to know that it's now over. I'm officially an RN.

Congratulations Nurse!!
I can vividly remember my first time - 15 years ago - like it was yesterday!
... can't believe I have to go through it again sometime this year, but at least it will "only" be written/multiple choice, the first time was written, oral and practictical/clinical! Boy was I a wreck, I knew everything - just not at the right time, like when it was my turn...lol
