LPN now a RN
I took my boards last Wednesday, I was a nervous reck...I have test anxiety like most of people.
When the computer shut off at 75 questions, my heart stopped and I cried because I thought I failed.
I cannot express the joy I had to find out I passed.
To all the graduate nurses out there, relax, hang in there
You can do it too..
Good luck to everyone taking NCLEX

congrats@! plz give us some input abt ur board questions, what kinda questions were u gettin alot... any tips plz?? thanks
I wish I could tell you about the questions but honestly I do not remember, I was so focused and when the computer shut off I was a nervous wreck. I know, I remained calm and relaxed while testing (but fell apart afterward) and I used the strategies from the Kaplan book I brought to help me answer the question.
1. read the question, reword it, to see what its asking you
2. eliminate all incorrect answers.
etc
** I would suggest you buy the Kaplan book ( I brought mind @ barnes & noble for like $35, Borders also carry it ). I read the book cover to cover X2 and followed the techniques in the book to approach the answers.
Are you taking you boards soon?
Good Luck to you...

I'm using the same book right now, I also did the Kaplan prep course which I personally did not care for, but I do like their question bank. I'm doing the same thing, reading the kaplan book, cover to cover. Congrats again. I pray that I'll be celebrating to in 59 days.
