I Passed I Passed I'm A Lpn Now

:mad: Wow, I just took the NCLEX-PN at 1:30 yesterday 2-13-2006 and I went to the Ohio board of Nursing website; just for the heck of it and typed in my name and there it was,, my license number-IV approved. I didn't even have to call person vue and pay. I paid $49.00 for the NCSBN review and it was perfect, I graduated 6 months ago and had not even studied until I took the review course online for 3 weeks. The NCLEX was exactly just like the review questions and the content of the information on each system really helped me alot. I especially liked the pharmacology review course and the exams they have. I didn't even study anything else just that course. I went into the test and it stopped at 85 questions. I got up and relized that I had only been taking the test for 1 hour. I was scared because it seamed so easy so I thought I failed. WELL I guess it was just that I knew the information. I am so happy to have found that website. :nurse:

that is so great all of us are passing that dredfull test. I know for 6 months I drove myself crazy thinking about it. I am so glad it is over. And congradulations to everyone who has passed, and good luck to the ones getting ready to take it. :nurse:

I read your post and decided to try learningtext.com for 21 days. It just seems so overwhelming. Can you give me any tips on how you completed it in 3 weeks.

Just take the pretest. and then read every question and then take the test over. Then read through each chapter, just skim through the stuff you know. Make sure you read the medication chapter through. take as many of the exams as you can and read every question and answer and then retake. I printed out the exams after I took them so I had them with me when I had a few min. don't worry about your scores, I got in the 60's on the first try. My test ended at 85 and I didn't think it was as bad as people say. I also printed out every chapter.

I have 10 CD'S and a printed out copy of the NCSBN learning extention NCLEX-PN that cost $49 with most of the exams, plus all the ink, paper and time it took to print, it is a lot.

I will also include the big book that goes with the basic nursing 4e and NCLEX-PN certification Exams 2nd edition 2003 and I will include the NCLEX Secrets that I bought online for $29 and printed out it is 114 pages and it was great. it teaches you how to find the right answer even when you don't know what they want. (smart guessing) all for the $50 plus shipping. I will weigh it and let you know how much shipping is.

I tried printing out the chapters but it takes so loooong. I had to copy and paste to Word. Is there another way to do it without it being so time consuming?
