How is the town as far as travel? Is there an airport close. Is the hospital big or small? Was the wait time long for this site?

In my group of 4 that tested, 2 flew in and rented cars, and 2 of us drove (we were all from Texas, 2 from DFW, 2 from Houston area).
The hospital is pretty big, it has a seperate peds hospital, so you will have a pediatric patient.
The wait time for Lubbock is probably one of the longest of any test site (seems it is like 6-8 months from when they accept all your paperwork).

I am taking sociology thru U Excel . The Cost is same as CLEP $90.plus $10 for practice exams.
I was asking about english composition Community college wants me to take prereq for this class as English is my second language .What you studied for CLEP Socilogy .I have the college network notes and book recommended by EC
I got a cancellation for 3 weeks and I live in DFW so I drove to Lubbock and I stayed in Baymont Inn recommended by EC.Hospital is big everyone was friendly .

I am considering doing EC. I have heard good and bad reviews. The clinical portion worries me, based on some of the reviews I have read, and I have not been in a hospital setting for about 3 years now. How long did it take you to complete the program? I have all of my pre-reqs, except my A&P 1&2 are over 5 years, so I have to retake those.
smrsir It depends upon you what are your responsibilities as I am a mother of two kids one school going and one is 3 yrs old and husband who works from home .It really depends upon you how you adjust everything else according to your studies when I started my 3yr old was 5 months and it took me 2 and half yrs to finish .My back ground is I am a MD from foreign medical school .CPNE is doable if you follow EC guide lines and you will do fine .I do not had any experience here in US .I hope it helps .
