I this normal orientation pay for HHC??

Published

I was just offered a FFS position with a Home Health Care agency in my area. I really want the job and this agency has a positive reputation. They pay $50/visit.

Here is the problem-

I must attend 2 weeks orientation, so I have to take a 2 week vacation from my regular hospital job. For those two weeks they will pay $100 per 8 hour day (approx $12 per hour for 2 weeks).

Is this orientation time and pay normal????

Thanks.

My 2 week orientation paid $9.00/hr less than my base hourly rate, which was still more than double what you will be getting, seems wrong to me.. JMHO

HHC in my area pays reasonable base pays for orientation. And that's way the heck above $12 an hour!
