Mine mostly are paperwork involved...we have 3 different places where forms, orders, consents, etc are stored and it usually requires me to look in all 3 before I find what I am looking for...ugh.

:yeahthat:

Plus half our forms we have to print off the computer and there are about 3 different places to look there...not intuitive-no rhyme or reason for how they are organized as far as I can see!

...where I have put my pen! I swear there is a black hole in that hospital FULL of pens!

It's connected via a warp in the time-space continuum to the place where lone sox go!:lol2:

This list is hilarious, I forget all these things! My pt.'s name (last name) in the pyxis is frequent, my 4 passwords for each program (they're changed q 90 days!) all the supplies...red dots, duoderms, sterile gloves, foley leg strap, blood bank orders, restraing orders, EKG strip sheets, gosh...I practically forget my own name some nights when it's crazy! :uhoh3:

Which lead goes where on a remote tele patient...I'm so glad for the little map on the machine (but even then sometimes the monitor tech will call and say 'So and so's leads are screwed up, Tish! LOL)

what did i go into the supply room for?

[color=#483d8b]

[color=#483d8b]i actually have to say to myself, over and over "foley, foley, foley....." in order to retreive what i go in for.

[color=#483d8b]

[color=#483d8b]and forget it if someone asks me a question when i'm headed in there.....interrupt my train of thought, and i'll never remember. i have to go back to the patient's room (if i can even remember which patient) and start over.

my 4 passwords for each program (they're changed q 90 days!)

the only time I could remember my password for the entire 90 days without looking at my cheat sheet was when it was "i forgot". :Crash:

I never remember the reasons I got into nursing in the first place...:rolleyes:

I can never remember where people put things....there's always someone in the bunch of monkeys that decides to put whatever I am looking for SOMEWHERE ELSE!! AGGGGHHHH!

My patient's name...even after three 12's with the same group, which is rare. I remember room #, d'x, md, and any major medical issues. In report I usually say Mr. 558 or what have you.

Something else I always get screwed up are those combinations for the doors to the supply room and narcotic room.

My accuchek test strips when checking those pesky BGLS at HS,0000,0600.

You must be my long lost twin!

I can never remember where the guest bathrooms are. I never use them, why should I know?
