I have to write a paragraph or two about Major Concerns for Women Regarding Health Care in the Future. I can't come up with any examples. Any suggestions would be appreciated. :)

A big concern is the rising c-section rate. Look it up and you'll see what I mean. Another is many hospitals no longer do VBACS (lady partsl birth after cesarean) and this means once a section always a section.

Another concern is the decreasing lack of choices for OB care providers. In many places obstetricians and family practice docs are quitting due to high malpractice rates. Also nurse midwives are getting laid off for the same reason.

Good luck with your paper.

or consider the alarming rates of breast cancer, and rising.

affordability! I'm thinking of so many women with, part time job (jobs), none that provide benifits. These are the folks who do not get preventive care. Think of all the problems that would lead to.

You can expand on that issue into much more than a few paragraphs. Good luck to you. How about posting your finished assignment for us to see? I'd love to see the finished product. Bet you come up with lots more ideas too.

I agree with baby catcher. Soon who will deliver our babies. Also our c-section rate is too high. And we rank 40th or so in infant mortality.

Thank you SO much! :) That is of huge help :)

It is actually one of the 10 questions I have on my final exam. The teacher has given us the exam to take home and give it back next week.

How about pap smears education or affordability for birth control . I have a issue with pregnant women who make to much money to qualify for medicaid but cannot afford health insurance or do not have access to health insurance. What do these women do? I was one of these women I just had to show up at the hospital when I thought it was time 42 wks B/P 200/120. No money for prenatal care, and lived in a county with no county hospital......:stone

how about women and heart disease? women have the fastest growing death rates with heart disease because their symptoms are often"silent" and far from what is considered to be classic. jmo.

Again, thank you so much :)
