Hi all! I am in my next to last semester of my RN-BSN program and desperately need a preceptor so that I can obtain my 60 hours of RN BSN experience. I am willing to precept anywhere!! I live in Denver Colorado. Can anyone tell me how to find a preceptor or at least where to start? My school recommended I cold-call-- which is not my thing.
Thanks!

Did you try contacting any clinical sites? If I'd had to do that I would have been planning since day one in clinicals.

You might also contact the educational coordinators of your local hospitals to see about finding a preceptor that way.
