I was finally ready to apply this month for the nursing program at EC...BUT I got a "D" in algebra! I know I can retake this class and am capable of getting an A this time around. The problem is that I kinda have been at this nursing thing (pre reqs)for quite some time now and I don't know if i should wait and apply later this year or go to a for profit school to get my associates?
Can anyone recommend a counselor at EC or Paramount building who might "specialize" in nursing department of counseling?

Hum, I feel for you! It does take a while to plug our way through... If this math class counts for points for getting into the nursing program, I would replace it with a better grade. You have come this far, and if it takes one more class in the end to make it to the top of nursing school lists, I would do it! If your program does not take this class into consideration than blow it off, but most nursing prorams will require it... Hang in there. In the long run it will be less work for you!!!! Really. Blessings~
