I Need help with Medical Math...

hello there. i'm not an lpn as of yet, but i will be in 2008 permitting if i pass the test. i'm not really good in math and i have disliked it all my life. as you know, nurses need a lot of math in order to do doseage calculations, ht. and wt., surface area, drug doseages for peds, monitoring iv, giving im, sq, or id injection etc...i hope math won't be my downfall as a nurse because i really love nursing! does anybody have any suggestions about an easier way to do mental math for drug calculations??? any help will be appreciated. thank you so much. :):):)

I am sure that you not passed your nursiing test but got a great grade too:specs: I think I did ok on the test I hope I get a really good grade our teaher said we would get the the grades we got on the test back next Thursday I want to know now-kind of :lol:!!!! email me later ok take care and enjoy your weekend as well ok and keep me posted:anpom::anpom::anpom:

Hello, Missy... Glad to hear that u r doing fine. Well, it's okay for the error. no worries. And thank u for being soo supportive. I really appreicate it. :thankya::lttang: Yes, I hope I did good. It is a take home test, but I am not sure about three of the answers... LOL! Yes, I kno how u feel; when I do a test, I wanna know how I do... Hopefully, we did good and both got A's.. LOL... Hey Missy, I dunoo if that will work. But when I clicked on the link, nothing happened. But I will try to figure it out okay? So how r u today? What plans do u have fr the weekend. Me, nm, just to study for my HOSA test and the skills portion of my HOSA state competition. I had passed the regional level of HOSA and made it to States. Basically, I compete with people all around FL. That is really cool, and I wanna bring home the gold medal so I can be the best in the state. The will b soo aswome...
