I don't know what to do

Published

Hi guys I'm about to start school on oct 11 at ASA college for nursing and I'm reading all these awful things about this school.. I have literally one foot in and on foot out.. He anyone went to that school. What are your views.. Did you graduate?

It doesn't look like a school I'd be eager to attend, but I have no personal experience. Only 63% of students finished on time and only 54% of students found work in the field within one year.

It's not accredited by ACEN or by CCNE as far as my searches can tell. That would explain the low hiring rates, I suppose. I don't have experience with this school but if I were you? I'd find a different program at a different school.

The two above posters should have convinced you to cancel your enrollment. Even if it takes you a couple years to get accepted, find an accredited (both regionally and ACEN/CCNE), established, respected program. How on earth would you pay off all those student loans (exorbitant tuition for a two year degree, btw) if, like the majority of their students you either did not graduate or could not get hired due to their apparently inferior program?

Don't let desperation lead you to make terrible financial and career choices.

This investor-owned school charges in excess of $40,000 in tuition and fees for a non-accredited nursing program? Yikes...I'd find another school to attend if I were you.
