Hi everyone,
I just took my TEAS test yesterday. For the last few months I have been trying to find info about the test so I bet some other people want to know about it, too. Here are my thoughts.
I didn't buy the ATI study guide because I had a general nursing school entrance exam book and didn't want to pay for the study guide since I would only use it once. BUT, if you can borrow a copy from library or friend, I would recommend it to familiarize yourself with the question style. I was surprised at how many metric conversion questions were on the test. The only thing I was asked about anatomy was a labeling question about pancreas, stomach, intestines. Most of the other questions tested what you already know. Most questions on the test weren't things you could really study for except the math. Review formulas you might not remember and practice algebra if you haven't done so in a long time.
If you have questions about the test, I can try to answer.

Not so bad, is it? I bet you're glad you're done!
How do you think you did?
You can sign on to atitesting.com and get your scores.....it takes about 2 or 3 days for them to post them
Good Luck!
Actually, my score popped up on the screen as soon as I submitted the test. I got a 90%, which I am very happy with. Thanks for asking. I don't really know how to interpret my scores, though. I have a hard time believing that with a 90%, I am in the 99 percentile rank for National and Program. Oh well, when June 30th comes around I will know if my score was good enough to get me into the program.

I think that is about as high as many get on the test. 99 Percentile means you scored 99% better than others that took the test, so that is very, very good.
The TEAS was new at my school, it was an 85 (93rd percentile), but where the decision was made not too long before the TEAS was given, hardly anyone had time to get a study guide so you had to take it cold turkey.
I just did research on the internet, and practiced what others had already said was on it...that is all I had to go by. At my school I had the 3rd highest TEAS score of everyone that took it, so I was pretty proud of that.

I think your probably are in the 99th percentile with that score. That's awesome!!
And thank you for sharing your feedback in regaards to the test. That will help so many people out.
Hopefull2009,
Congrats on getting 3rd highest score. That really is something to be proud of. TEAS is new at our school, too.
I have to ask about your name. I plan to have my Associates Degree in Nursing in 2009, is that what your name means? Or is it something else?
