I just failed the CPNRE! :(

Hey guys, I just got my results for the CPNRE exam that I took. I failed it! I’m feeling really discouraged because I thought I passed it for sure and I didn’t. I scored 99/170 which means I got 58%. It showed me the average score for cpnre is 120/170 so that’s 70%. Anyone know what I needed to pass? I am now considering taking this online course That will guarantee me passing the next time. It’s $1000 but it guarantees you 100% of passing and if I fail, money back guaranteed.

Any advice for me? Feeling so discouraged. ?

Hey All!

I just wrote my exam a few days ago and am so stressed about it! I think I passed, but the waiting is killing me. Do you know if they take away your provisional license if you don’t pass? Thanks

Provisional license? If you mean temporary license then it is only valid for 6 months from the date you registered. I think if you fail exam. you lose your temporary license as well.

How did you answer the questions? On the exam it's important to answer through ABC, and prioritize and answer through process of elimination.

How are you studying at the moment?

I studied from CPNRE prep guides 3, 4, 5. I even took out a $900 course that guarentees passing and I still failed! No refund either...

Sorry to hear that Linzi. Are you using NCLEX-PN Saunders in your study? When you were answering the questions, was it mostly content or just understanding the question?

I suggest skipping upcoming exam date and register for the one after.

Sorry to hear. Cpnre was way easier than the actual exam. I suggest getting u world . Instead of thinking “abc” or basics vitals , most of the exam is Maslow heirchy of needs. U world will make you critical think. What aspect of the exam are you finding difficult ?

Well I failed it again even tho I did that online course that guarantees passing! :(

Thank you. I haven’t used that Saunders one but I used the CPNRE prep tests/study guides 1,2,3.

Hi, I am sorry to hear about that. I am going to take my 2nd attempt and very nervous.. may I ask what is your remarks when you see your result? I mean the average of passing.. I am answering prep guide and I would like to know the average score of passing as I am only getting about 60%. Thank you
