I did it! I survived my first semester of NS!

I passed all my finals - I officially did it! My grades weren't as great as I'd hoped they'd be - it was a pretty 50/50 mix of As and Bs. But I did get an A in Pharmacology, which was definitely our hardest class! I did well on all my finals and feel really good about my success overall this semester. Anyone else want to share their joy/relief after the first semester? :heartbeat

Congratulations! I just completed my first semester of nursing school also and I am soooooo excited. My school has a higher grade scale (93%-100% = A or 85%-92%=B or 80%-85%=C). I received a B- 91.6% in Basic Care needs and an A-95.6% in Nursing as a profession. My school incorporates pharmacology throughout our entire program, there is no clear defined “pharmacology” class. They also incorporated nutrition, communication etc into our curriculum.

I am so glad I made it, half of my class is gone!!!!

The program I'm in is completely integrated. EVERYTHING is integrated. I'm even in integrated science classes. We started out with 114 in nursing, dropped to 80 after mid terms, and only 62 people showed up to the final. I have no idea how many passed, but, I'm one of them! :)

Im done with my 1st semester too! I ended up with a B and I am proud of it! We started with 50 in our class 38 came to finals and I know of 4 so far who didnt pass.

In my college; pharm, lab, fundamentals, etc...are all rolled into one "Nursing" class (8 credits). Nursing 1, 2, 3, 4....then graduation! I'm so excited, scared, and nervous for Nursing 2....but I'm ready!
