Well, I am all done precepting my senior nursing student. It was so much fun watching her learn and grow over the last couple monthes. She even helped this old dog learn a few new tricks and with her fresh eyes taught me how to approach a couple of things a bit differently. I liked her so much going away cake. But, hey, lets be honest, there is always a good reason for cake, LMAO. Good luck to all you students and if she was any indication as to what is coming out of nursing schools these days, GOOD FOR ALL OF US!

I hope my preceptor turns out to be as nice as you. The cake is even optional

I love precepting, too. It's one of my favorite things.

I start my orientaition for preceptorship next week. I hope my preceptor feels the way that you do!

Bite your tongue, cake is NEVER optional, ROFL.
Hey, if I can have both, I'll go for both! But if I have to choose between a good preceptorship and the cake, the cake can wait

As an old dog going into my preceptorship in 30 something days, I hope and pray I find your doppelganger at one of my local NICUs or Nurseries.
