Hi! I got my letter today...I got accepted to nursing school!!! They only accepted 30 out of more than 150 applicants, so I was dying of nervousness. I'll be starting in January!

Now I have to start getting my shots and saving my money. But in the meantime I'm going to enjoy my time off to the fullest!!!

Congrats :)

Enjoy your free time.. :)

i am sure you will do great!

Congrats.....it's a load off the mind isn't it?? Good luck to you!

Congratulations! Enjoy the holidays and get some rest. You may find you need it later on. :)

Congrats!

I also start in the spring, and am scared beyond belief. I know I'll get through it though, and you will too!

Good luck!

Yay, class of 2004!

Can you guys let me know what the waiting time for you all was? I hear a lot about waiting lists, but then I hear a lot of people getting in right away. I want to hear your experiences. I am going to apply in January as I will be taking my last two classes needed in before going in....you can apply when taking your last classes, right? Let me know how it was for you! Blessings, Terri R.

Terri,

I go to a small school and they only admit 30/semester. Our file was required to be completed by Aug. 25 for Spring and my acceptance letter was sent out the 26th! I know that there were some who applied and didn't get in, but probably not too many. We have 2 schools that offer ADNs within 15 minutes of each other and, for reasons I can't understand, most people choose to enroll in the crappier of the two. I guess because its easier to get into. Most nurses who graduate from there, though, don't know what they need to know to pass the boards and just have to wait longer to start practicing. I don't get it, but oh well...

Sorry I got off the subject a little, but hope this helped some.

Good job!!! Best of luck to you.

thanks, everyone, for your encouragement!!

today i found out that i was approved for a student loan to help finance my education and living expenses, so that's an even BIGGER relief! :roll
