Congratulations!
I graduate in 2 weeks!
Since you have until January before you begin my suggestion would to be to either take A&P 1 ( if you haven't already) or purchase a book my program used Linton human anatomy and physiology
The beginning of PN programs usually start with A&P. Teaching you how each system is supposed to function that way when you begin med surg clinicals you can see how disease processes affect each system and have a better understanding of how treatments and interventions work.
This was especially difficult for me. Had I taken an A&P class I think I would have had an easier time with school.
Wishing you the best of luck!
Enjoy your summer :)
Awesome! Im in Block 2 which is a set of 4 months but unfortunately have to retake it due to my car accident and now my mom hospitalized with a serious blood clot. Because of all these road blocks I am going back to finish what I started. What I have done so far was a challenge but at the same time it was really interesting. Good luck!
@sweetlola648 I bought the ati book and another book called "ace the teas v". But, seriously the best thing I did was get on YouTube and watch these videos by tecmath. He makes it really easy to understand and I learned a lot if shortcuts. I only had a few days to study and I passed and I've been out of school for 20+ years. So honestly. I'd say it helped a lot!
I also took all the practice tests out of the book. The practice tests will help you a lot for reading. Good luck!
@DPalmieri...I don't even know now what school I'll be going to. The one I was going to go to is closed now, it's full they say. So now I have to wait for the next program which starts in April or May of 2017!!! I'm in NY looking at the GV boces program. So now I have to wait another 10 months!! It's awful
