I got a JOB !!!!!

I sent out over 100 applications, had 2 interviews, and just got hired into acute care and rehab at a LTC. I am so excited. They are even giving me the schedule that I dreamed about. I am making very descent money and I am just so jazzed about all the new nursing experiences I am going to have. I did not have to relocate and it truly feels like this is the answer to my prayers. Don't listen to anyone who says that anything not in a hospital is not nursing. Nursing has many avenues and being open and respectful of all the options can only help your nursing career.

congratulations... couldnt help but smile at your post since I too have been the same way since I got a job. WIth the current economy, I am simply thankful for having a job.
