I got into Troy in Montgomery. However, i must defer for a year for financial and personal reasons. Do most people who have been accepted but must reapply get back in? Im nervous that I won't get back in. Any thoughts

Why can't you just take out a loan? Just keep your deferment application and acceptance letter for proof that you were admitted.Stop worrying yourself.People do this all the time..

I think whether or not you will have to reapply if you defer is different with every school. In my school, yes...I think you may be able to defer, but only 1 semester. I understand you wanting to wait for financial aid...you can only do what you can do, so if you can't do it without the financial aid and have no other options, then not much you can do.
Best of luck and I hope you are able to figure something out so you can start ASAP!!

We are allowed to defer one semester. I had applied to 2 local CC's that are a part of the same system. At one, I also had to defer for 2 semesters due to financial and personal obligations (I would've graduated this past May had I been able to enroll ).
At the other CC, I had to defer one semester for the same reasons....I accepted last fall's enrollment and haven't looked back. I'm a pretty big believer that most things happen for a reason -- "fate" -- and I wish you well once you are able to begin your nursing journey!!
