@sailornurse..oh no i would never forget the male nurses..I will correct that!!!...and thank you sir :)
Well I am a woman. FYI the Navy Nurse Corps is 107 years old. By the way I started my nursing career also as an LPN. Sounds like you also plan to go for your RN. I wish you much success in your studies.
MsCathey_84Congratulations!!! I will see you at orientation! I chose the evening seat as well![/quote
Same to you ....I am very happy to have the option for evening so I can work during the day!! I have a lot of energy at night...lol
@yyu00001
That is very strange...I know they always tell us that acceptance is based on the applicants as a whole.Maybe last year was a little different.maybe it was higher?? What was your GPA if I may ask?? i applied with a 66 teas and a 3.9 GPA...I received a B in micro...and was furious...I literally called the teacher and had him explain to me how because i was depending on that A when I transfer for my BSN..but hey...at least it was a high B..just didn't make me happy I missed the A by 1.5 points..in which brought my GPA down

I GOT IN!!!!! I am so excited and happy to be accepted into Gaston college LPN program.I also am currently on Gaston college RN waiting list as #3 as I learned from the email I received.I am very happy as I have already accepted my seat in the LPN for evening time. Are there any other ladies that will be attending the LPN program at night???
Are you ladies nervous? I am very nervous after hearing from 2 students that it is really hard. I hear it is more complicated than the RN program..Does anyone who has been in the LPN program have any insight??
Thank you ladies and Congrats to all!!!!
