I kind of already stated my study tips but I will reiterate. First of all I have an amazing teacher who explains things so clearly I barely need to study. That alone is monumental, that God for RateMyProfessor! Second, I sit in the front row and pay very close attention whenever she is lecturing and I take her notes from the board verbatim. Before the most recent test I even asked her for more problems to give us extra practice, and she did! So, for the tests/quizzes, I print out several blank copies of each homework assignment that will show up on each test/quiz and I do each of them once a day up until the test and make sure that I can do them without looking to my notes for clarification and guidance. That last bit of information is what I tell all of my friends from class, and is a surefire way for test success...in our class anyways!
To those of you worried about Chemistry. If you have problems with math and science courses expect to do more than average studying and consider a study group or toutor. And tell your teacher during the first week of class about your insecurities and that you may not catch on too quickly. If they are a good teacher they will challenge you and make sure you understand what they are explaining. Don't be afraid to speak up and ask them to explain it again. And if you don't have problems with math then you shouldn't really have problems with Chemistry. Overall the math is very simple, there are just a lot of rules and things to memorize, as with any science course.

My BIGGEST study tip is find the happy young teenagers fresh outta high school and buy them hot cocoa!!!!!!!
Really! My other ah more mature girlfriend and I met a group of youngin's and studied with them 1/2 the night in the school library! I personally can't seem to really "study" Chem too much as I just don't know what 1/2 the stuff means. Plus my professor wrote his own course book chuck full of problems yet no answers! So I can do them all night long and if I'm doing them wrong I have no way to know! He does give us a sample exam, so I use that of course as my study guide and just go over and over it until I can do it. One big thing that also saves me is having the C=M/V and moles-gram or gram-moles conversions down. Just those scored me a good 30 points on this past exam. Plus we also were doing the Keq (equlibrium) and I found that pretty easy and there were 3 questions each worth 10 points on that, so whammo a 60% just from that. Honesly I wish I had a better answer for you guys, but I just plum lucked out! I mean, I know I earned it and all as I gave my absolute all toward time for this test, but I just happened to have known the answers to the questions he chose for this exam. Had he picked a few other topics my post may very well have read ":bluecry1: I just got a 42% on my chem test"
