I got my acceptance letter from UAMS!!!

I am just ecstatic right now. Can't believe that after less than a week from my interview I received my acceptance package yesterday. I never thought I could get in this school as it is a tough program to get into. I am so excited about my future!!! Anyone else got their acceptance letter?

I see you were accepted in 2013. I have an interview next week for the 2014 BSN program. Can you give me any advice in regards to the study load, teachers, curriculum ect... I find it hard to get any insight so anything at all would be greatly appreciated.

I know this was a while back, but I was wondering if you could give me any information about what exactly the interview means.. I am currently going through the process right now.

Does an interview mean they have seen my grades and I have made it past that part.. I ask that because my grades aren't the absolute best... And my TEAS was a 65.... I know its competitive, but I don't know if I have a chance or not. Thanks.

I can give you a little insite. I graduate from UAMS in May :) getting an interview is good news! Means you are still being considered for a slot and have a good chance of getting in the program if you do well!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write... Congratulations by the way that's amazing! My GPA is what is making me extreamly nervous. I have a 2.98 and after my last two classes I hopefully can bring it up to at least a 3.0... I guess I'll just have to wait until after April 1st, the deadline... Did you find out immediately if you were accepted or did it take a while???

I'm applying with a 3.02, and taking the TEAS later this month. Do you happen to know how each part of admission is weighted? (TEAS, GPA, and interview) And the lowest that got in to your class? Just want to know where I might possibly stand

I've applied and have an interview scheduled for this week. I'm nervous because I applied so late. My GPA is 3.2 and I made an 84.7 on the TEAS. I'm also an older applicant, so not sure if that will work against me.

Is there a current application/acceptance thread for Summer 2016?
