I am going to have a nervous breakdown....

Published

I can't take the waiting any more. I just called my school to see if the "letters" went out, I was told that they would be going out tomorrow which means I will know by Wednesday or Thursday. That would mean that the next few days will take forever ;) .

I feel like I am going through some major anxiety; I can't sleep for anything. I wasn't this nervous a week ago but I guess as thee day gets closer the more nervous I will become.

How is everyone coping with the wait? I need to know. I am going to drive myself and my wife crazy.

I got my letter just now and I did not get in either. Oh well - Hunter here I come

I think I am going to apply to Molloy College.

I'm so sorry :(. I hope your second choice works out better for you anyway!

Good luck!

I applied to Molloy last year and got accepted on a provisional basis. I just could not afford the tuition.

Tracy,

Did you go and see a tranfer counselor first or did you just apply? Where can i find out what the curriculum is for Molloy's nursing prgoram, I can't find it on the website?

Hi everyone. I applied to Nassau Community College's evening nursing program and I got my letter today... I got in! I'm so happy and excited. I hope we get some more acceptances on here real soon. Good luck to everyone and for those who didn't get in, DON"T GIVE UP!!!

Good luck to everyone!

I didn't see a transfer counselor. I went to one of there open houses and got the info and then applied.

They were nice over at Molloy. The school is very small. At first when I pulled up I thought that it was a high school.

Good luck!

Congrats - I unfortunately did not get into the day program. My grades are all high B's and a couple of A's. My only downfall is math. I have taken it 3X already and get the same grade - C+.

I looked into the math lab to get extra help but they do not cater to the evening student who works full time during the day and goes to class every night. They should have Friday evening and Saturday hours.

Good Luck

Tracy

Tracy,

Can you take Statistics on Saturday mornings? I can recommend the professor and I know he teaches Saturday mornings, you will get an A for sure. He's a great teacher.

What's his name? Maybe he is teaching over the summer. I probably won't be attending NCC in the fall unless the nursing program calls me stating that a seat has opened up. I guess that there is always home for that. That happened to my boss' husband who did not get accepted right away.

Tracy

How long after his denial letter did he get the call?

I am not really sure - I will have to ask her when I go to work.

Did you apply where else beside NCC?
