Still in LTC, but I am scheduled 6p-6a on Fridays and Saturdays, and I am allowed to even work 4 hour shifts in addition to that to make a little extra money! And...I'll be making $1.11 more an hour than I am now!
Looks professional enough for me, although time will tell, but I am a bit excited about it.
When I went to my old job to turn in my 2 week notice, I passed my DON as I was walking in....she said, "Gave a recommendation for you today!" (She's quitting too...)
Talked to the Administrator and gave her my letter of resignation, and she urged me to talk to the DON (the one who is quitting) and see if we can get the schedule straightened out.
Whatever. If the DON is quitting too, what makes her think the schedule will be straightened still after she leaves? *SIGH*
But, I wanted to thank all of you who gave encouragement and words of advice.....:kiss
you would think getting the schedule straight before turning in a resgination would have been best....anyhow...starting fresh sometimes is a good thing. you know i wish you the best, julie.
