There were a lot of pharm questions, the funny thing is that I only had 1 dosage calculation question!! I wished I had more, cause I am good at math, lol.. anyhow, I had a lot of prioritizations like "If you were to have these 4 patients who will you check first", or "If you only had 1 private room, which patient would you put in there?" ... I used the ABC's and Maslows, but some of my questions none of my patients had any Oxygen concerns so I just tried my best to see which one was at most risk. I had a lot of drugs that I never heard of!!, they asked me for the side effects and I just chose the most common side effects of all drugs, like nausea or constipation, etc.. I had a LOT of lab values questions especially the serum potassium, sodium, hematocrit, all the blood counts, and calcium. I had 2 questions that was asked twice?!! that was weird, but it was about the Chvotskey's sign. Thank god I knew that one.. anyhow, GOOD LUCK on your boards

and I found out that I have, PASS
... I am so happy right now.. these past 2 days were the most horrible and stressful days of my life.. I stopped at 172 questions and was wondering why I kept getting more and more questions and the computer did not stop at all (since I keep hearing min 85) ... so after I passed the 85th question, I got very worried and nervous.. so many drugs that I did not know and too much prioritizing and GI system questions. GI is my worst system to remember.. I still cannot belive that I passed !! now I am officially an LPN
... this is the BEST feeling ever!! even better than the LPN Graduation.. Thank you very much for your input on how to prepare for the NCLEX.. I used the orange Saunders book and it helped... even though a lot of the questions on the test were not even in the book.. a LOT of critical thinking questions... Now I can start working as a NURSE :balloons:
