received letter yesterday and was informed I was an alternate for hinds lpn to rn program; applied feb. 2008 :jester:is there anyone out there that is either accepted for fall 2010 or an alternate

Woohoo!! I'm always so happy when I see someone get in. I was SUPER LUCKY to get in on my first try because one of the four schools I applied to based their acceptance solely on the TEAS test, and I got so much help here when I discovered I had less than two weeks to study for my entrance exam...:eek:

I wish everyone who really wants to get in (for the right reasons) could get in. It stinks when good people get passed by, and it is even worse when they get frustrated and give up. You have a lot of determination- best of luck in school and I'll see you at the other end in 2012!

I got into Hudson Valley Community College in NY. I'm still a viable candidate for two other schools out of the four, but honestly, I can't be bothered- they require the TEAS plus interviews, essays, etc.
