I just found out from pearson that i failed....despite my freak out feelings of the thought that i might have failed, i still had a spark of hope...the first 75 felt good and i knew a lot of the answers it just kept going and going until i reached 265....i was one of the top students in my RN program...i just don't understand how this could have happened...

Hang in there, Oscar! This has happened to a lot of great nurses. Don't let it keep you down. Once you get your score report back you'll likely have a better idea of where to brush up before the next attempt.

A small % will fail, sorry to hear you are one of them. Give yourself a small break and then hit the questions again. Good luck and don't give up

Sorry OSCAR.I also failed twice but now I had myself back with suzanne's plan.I feel confident enough that one day I can call myself an RN. U know what, my auntie passed nclex-rn on her 7th try, she's now an ER nurse in NJ and she keeps on telling me that one day all my hardships will go to an end, just keep on studying and accept defeat.Forget what had happened and start again.we can do this.just believe.just do it...ok:angryfire
THANKS TO ALL WHO HAVE BEEN SO SUPPORTIVE!! I have officially came to the conclusion that everything DOES happen for a reason! I will be ok! I think my unit manager is going to hold my position until I pass....I am going to prepare myself the best I can for the next 45 days and try'er again! Good things in life are never easy and this bump in the road will only make me a stronger person!

You are so right! Keep at it. Find a good review course and keep practicing questions 150 a day. I did two 75Q tests a day from various sources which helped my test anxiety. I have terrible test jitters. Anyway, you have a good attitude!

Oscar,
You can do this!! Many a great nurse has failed their first time. Keep the faith and tackle this baby again.
