I failed the NCLEX twice and I am distraught

Published

I just found out that I failed the NCLEX for the second time and I am extremely sad. I don't know what to so. I studied consistently daily for about 6 weeks. I took a Kaplan course and did practice questions (100-150/day). It took forever to rebuild what was left of my confidence after my last 'fail.' The first time I failed horribly, 75 questions. This time I thought I was doing better. I took my time, and worked through each question. The computer cut off somewhere between 125 and 130. I left the testing site feeling somewhat unsure but better than the time before. The waiting was agony, only to find out that once again, I failed.

Please help! I am beginning to think being a nurse isn't for me.

Thank you. I really needed that. I am struggling trying to find the motivation to try again. I am so down and discouraged. But I am trying my best. I will get it, and so will you. Thank you so much again for your kind words. Very helpful.

LadyFree has given you good info.

Hang in there! :)
