why I have dreams of being a nurse

This is from the very bottom of my heart. I have always wanted to be a nurse but i started a family at a very young age. I had two children by the age 19 and it was very hard for me to be in school and a single mother. I love EVERYTHING about the hospital. I've always admired nurses and doctors for what they do. (of course, there are some that have upset me in situations) but overall i think there the greatest people in the world. I feel like nursing is going to be perfect for me. I am such a deep caring person (sometimes that can be bad because i hurt when i see something terrible happen to someone) I hope it doesnt effect me as a nurse but i know that I will be faced with this often. I want so bad to have the knowledge that a nurse has. I want to know what to say if someone describes a problem to me. I want to be there for them and want them to know that im always here. If something ever happens to my children, I will be the one to take care of them and know exactly whats going on. I will be the greatest nurse ever. I will give each and every individual i care for the best that i have. I will be remembered. This is what i want and have wanted for soooo long and nothing is going to stop me. NOTHING! I think all of you are great and i cant wait to be where you are now. If i get accepted into the fall nursing program ill be on my way to my dream. if i dont get accepted ill find another school. Hi! You sound like such a caring person...you'd make a fabulous nurse! :) I think nursing is such a great career. I graduated with my BSN today and am very happy to soon start working. Best of luck to you in getting into the school of your choice!!
