I have my CPR NCLEX-RN

Nursing Students NCLEX

I already got my CPR NCLEX-RN after 44 days since I took my exam. At first I am a little satisfied with my performance because all content areas are NEAR THE PASSING STANDARD except for Psychosocial integrity which is BELOW THE PASSING STANDARD. But I realized that I don't have any ABOVE THE PASSING STANDARD in all area. Is this a good sign that just a little hard work I could pass or it is a bad sign because I don't have any ABOVE THE PASSING STANDARD? I'm really confuse :(

I also took my NCLEX 44 days ago, (December 8th) and got my CPR. My results are almost the same as yours: 1 above passing, 1 below passing, the rest near passing. Ughh!! I wish they would give a bar graph or something with these CPRs, so we NCLEX takers can better engineer our study game plan.

My BELOW PASSING was Management. I think since I went to nursing school in the Philippines, I had no clue how to delegate LPN/UAP. Now reading La Charity PDA to fix that. My ABOVE PASSING was pharma. I love drugs! :geek:

Anyway, I guess the best thing to do is study all topics again thoroughly until you got it. That means scoring high on Qbank scores etc... I hope we both pass on our next attempt (my 2nd) now knowing our weaknesses. Good luck!

You need to be above in all domains. What your report indicates is you need to do a comprehensive review with a little more focus on the area you were below. Do you feel content or test taking strategies were your bigger issue? Did you second guess your answers? When preparing did you study rationales to understand why one answer was better than the next?

Kaplan is considered better for strategy. Hurst is considered better for content. LaCharoty's Prioritization Delegation & Assignment is great if you were stuck in that area n

If not sure there are some free you tube videos, some offer free trials; and even khan academy has free nclex RN review videos.

Good luck

I did Saunders/Kaplan combo in my first attempt. It didn't help me at all! My overall Kaplan Qbank was 65%, Qtrainers 4-7 averaged 61% Sadly still failed!

UWorld Qbank is literally worlds away from Kaplan. The rationales are more detailed and focuses on critical thinking. If UWorld were food, it would have high nutritional value. La Charity is on par with UWorld. Both great!

So you are also a Filipino? :) Yeah I also took last December 8. I finished all the 265 questions. It's good that you have above the passing line.

Thank you! Yes I'm taking Kaplan review now. But I think I'm gonna try also the Uworld and Lacharity because I've read some good reviews about them.

There is no one method that works for everyone. However don't use too many resources as that's just as bad as using the wrong resources. UWorld is in the same vein as Kaplan similar but works better for some than others
