I am a CNA or HCA in Canada, Should I go for Pharmacy Technician or LPN?

Hi All, I am currently working as CNA for about 8 months now and want to further my education. At first I want to become an LPN which is 13 months for those who is CNA. Then, I found out Pharmacy Technician program which is only 8 months. Working with CNA sometimes I don't feel like working and if I continue to become an LPN , I will still be working in similar environment like CNA. So I thought Pharmacy Tech will be a good career change and more interesting. However, there are a lot of online review about Pharmacy Tech career has 0% growth in the future as Amazon is going to take over pharmacy business and it is no longer a good career. When I go to indeed.ca and compare LPN and pharmacy Tech job postings, I saw more LPN job are posted and more pay compare to Pharmacy Tech. I am lost, should I go for Pharmacy Tech or LPN for my next program.

Please advise.

I find this confusing in regards to your comment about amazon.

If you read the OP's title, she said CNA or HCA in Canada. HCAs are like the same thing as CNAs... I don't understand why people are getting defensive?

OP, I suggest you stick with the LPN program. I hated being a health care aide but I enjoyed my clinicals and preceptorship during my practical nursing program. If you don't have the passion for it, being a pharmacy tech is still a decent career. With travel nursing, you can make a lot working as a LPN. Whatever career you decide, I wish you luck on your studies!

Mail order medications have been around for 30 years. May be some use them, most don't. CVS is the main 'medication by mail' company. Their medical insurance pushes your use of CVS online medications  (new name Wellness Central) but I just don't accept it. Why would I look to Amazon? Your information is flawed.
