  1. If you read the OP's title, she said CNA or HCA in Canada. HCAs are like the same thing as CNAs... I don't understand why people are getting defensive? OP, I suggest you stick with the LPN program. I hated being a health care aide but I enjoyed my clinicals and preceptorship during my practical nursing program. If you don't have the passion for it, being a pharmacy tech is still a decent career. With travel nursing, you can make a lot working as a LPN. Whatever career you decide, I wish you luck on your studies!
